Vista codec? You mean a media codec?

I recommend CCCP, K-Lite, or Windows Essentials Codec Pack. They can be found in the free software sticky.

K-lite codec is the best codec pack out there in my opinion. And Media Player Classic, which is included in it is just brilliant. Plays everything, I've ever thrown at it.

Vista codec pack is quite good as well.

I agree with that. If you want to know what i personally like the best, i go with CCCP.

What you would want is the standard version. Also, i'm pretty sure it works for 64-bit.

It's fine. Just go with standard installation. I'm prietty sure it works with 64 bit systems.
