    noob alert...

what i want to do is take a DVD and make a perfect copy of it on a DVD+R disc so that i can play it back on my DVD player (to save the wear and tear on the original).
ive downloaded DVD Copy Pro (fyi; free download today on cnet.com) and that didnt work (program just stopped while burining the DVD...i think it ran out of disc space)

after countless searches, i cant find anything that will do it. is it impossible to make a perfect copy of a DVD? (without loss of resolution or audio quality or any tricks and hacks). i dont want to pirate anything, i just want to make back-ups of the DVD's that ive bought.

    thanks

Sorry bud. Copying DVDs is circumventing the DMCA, and we can't allow discussions of that here because we may be liable. Thank your Congressperson.
