PCMark05/Vantage or SiSandra (System), HDTune (HDD), WPrime (CPU), 3dMark06 (GPU)....
-
Good list, you can also use HDTach for HDD.
-
passmark...

My laptop is better than yours!
I bought it yesterday for 1600 USD -
I am sure it costs more to import or whatever, but that is overpaying.
-
me? =D
i dont know...
yeah, you have a slightly better gpu and 1 more gb of ram, but i paid 50% less...
thanks for the recommendations. im going to do some performance testing tomorrow. -
Ah so this is a pissing contest?
Good thing you paid a ton more than the rest of us for a negligible performance boost. -
PCMark05 will not work for me. i downloaded the free basic version from futuremark, installed.. when i first load it, it says it is gathering system info and it may take a few minutes.... it just churns and churns and never returns, eventually i have to force quit. i tried this before and after reformatting and installing freshness. weird. oh well.
im gonna move on to the other benchmark tools later.
bump. -
Did you get the right version that would support _Vista (I'm assuming you're running _Vista).
-
50% less or $800? Great deal from what I can tell and not much more than I paid 2.5 years ago. .
-
Ya.....So what i just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance

MY DESKTOP BEATS ALL!
