    yO! just got a refurb'd Dell Studio 15 with the specs listed below.

    just wondering what the best methods for measuring its performance are...

    i havent been able to really put this thing to the test yet.

    I am sure it costs more to import or whatever, but that is overpaying.

    yeah, you have a slightly better gpu and 1 more gb of ram, but i paid 50% less...

    PCMark05 will not work for me. i downloaded the free basic version from futuremark, installed.. when i first load it, it says it is gathering system info and it may take a few minutes.... it just churns and churns and never returns, eventually i have to force quit. i tried this before and after reformatting and installing freshness. weird. oh well.

    im gonna move on to the other benchmark tools later.
