I've heard good things about that one. If you want some good info, search this forum for "Favorite Anti-virus" or something along those lines. There are a few threads with several pages of good AV info.

I used to say good things about it. It still catches viruses at a very high level, but it's also getting more resource intensive, and the interface is getting uselessly complex. I'd get Nod32, or if you want a suite then Kaspersky.

Yes, just about the highest. A couple percentage points higher than Bitdefender and Kaspersky in tests (which are very strong in their own rights), but a couple points less than some others I'm not familiar with. Nod32 also has the advantage of being very reasonably priced if you choose to buy it, and being very fast. It's interface is a little strange, but simple once you get used to it.

Well, we're moving away from Bit Defender at work and after doing a trial of both Kaspersky and Nod32 I decided on Nod32. But then, these are workstations which need every bit of performance they can get (yet their nature demands background scanning), and I'll be the only one messing with the configurations.

So, get demos, try them out. The few viruses that get by that Nod32 will catch won't kill you. You'll probably never even get them, and I'm sure there are some viruses that go the other way. It's always a good idea to have another scanner or two that you keep up to date which you can run in a time of need. The free version of Bit Defender comes to mind.

My advice is try both of them and see for yourself! currently, I am using kaspersky because it has a better GUI then nod32.
