Cut your losses - back up your important files and reinstall your operating system.

If the repair action failed, then reinstalling is an option. Unless you have a lot of Windows troubleshooting experience, I think your best bet is to simply reinstall the operating system.

Also, I saw that you've posted the exact same question on another forum, and you received a good reply on how to troubleshoot this problem. Have you visited each of the links provided to you, and did you read and understand them and perform whatever steps were outlined?

This page suggests that it's for HP's media buttons: http://www.runscanner.net/filelibrary/HpqKbFiltr.sys.html
    ...so not critical.

Try just deleting it. Actually just rename it hpqkbfiltr-sys-old. Then it won't load and you can put it back if needed. If you don't know where it is, then do a search. (Might be in \Windows\System32 though... just a guess.)

    I wouldn't touch anything from Securitystronghold.com.
Not even with a 40 foot pole.
I'd advice you to google Active@KillDisk or DBAN and start over with a clean HD.

Your solution: back up important files to a CD, then completely wipe the entire drive and reinstall the operating system.

    rename C:\windows\system32\intelppm.sys and try rebooting

that work only if you can boot in safe mode

C:\windows\system32\intelppm.sys renamed to intelppm1.sys then booted in safe mode but same error stop:0x0000007e(0xc0000005,0xf89e618e,oxf8b1e850,0xf8b1e54c)

Rename it to intelppm.sys.OLD, and make sure the file is unusable. And intelppm.sys is the Processor Device Driver.

    ^ To me ?

Anyway, I just thought that renaming intelppm.sys to intelppm1.sys, won't do any good. Changing the extension would make the file truly unusable, as intelppm.sys.OLD will be recognised as an "OLD" file type instead of "sys".
