Hello i reformatted my computer a while back and didn't leave the Bluetooth device on before hand. After installing the bluetooth software that would allow me to run it, it asked me to turn it on before it can start working. My question is how would i turn it on without using the bluetooth software

thanks in advance for any and all help that you give me

Also, what OS are you using?

I know the Bluetooth on XP can be - sorry, a pain.

I had some severe prolems with bluetooth and ended up figuring out an order of installing drivers...

Is there a hardware button on your notebook that controls Bluetooth? Like on my DELL, there is a slider on the left side of the notebook, using which I can turn my Bluetooth+WiFi on or off. Or maybe there might be a combination of keys to enable/disable it? It is usually the function button (Fn) + some key. You can check for the bluetooth symbol on one of the keys on the keypad and try it and see it if works.
