    this guide is missing where to get ntldr and boot.ini i got boot.ini but i can't find ntldr on my windows vista laptop or xp

    Isn't it a hidden file?
    Try this if IE:
    Open IE & enter C: into the address bar so that you are looking at your local hard drive. Next, select the Folder Options command from the Tools menu. When the Folder Options properties sheet opens: select the View tab.
    Then, just select the Show Hidden Files and Folders , and deselect the Hide Extensions for Known File Types, and the Hide Protected Operating System Files check boxes. Then click OK to continue.

    Try that...

    sorry for bothering u but can u just upload NTLDR, and NTDETECT to rapidshare or something caz i am really pissed from windows and its i feel that i am making a bomb not a bootable windows thanks anyway

    Wow... I was researching about bootable USB VIRTUALIZATION this afternoon

    Basically what you want to do but its where you can run lets say XP on the PC and Vista on a USB stick!!!


    But I think booting directly from a USB stick might also be very very cool because you could leave no traces on a PC AT ALL, but driver issues and such would suck...

    maybe i didn't explain exactly what i wahat i need to boot from usb to INSTALL windows from it not to run windows from it
    so any1 here in this forum did that so he can walkme thorough the hell of problems i face

    Shouldnt you just be able to ISO an installation DVD...

    seems like all of this is illegal...
