I'm running firefox 3. I updated Windows (xp) a few weeks ago (standard security updates). Anyway, for the last week my browser has been slow to no go. When I open a new window, it takes a while to load. The thing is, I CAN'T GET BACK TO THE OLD BROWSER WINDOWS either until the new one loads. It happens on lots of sites. Any ideas? It is driving me nuts, and I'm already nuts enough.![]()

Try internet explorer to check if it shows the same symptoms.

Thanks for the replies. I have IE6 and tried that too, and the same thing happens. So I'm don't think it is specific to Firefox or IE. I don't really want to reinstall Firefox and lose all my settings. A friend tried my wireless internet with his notebook and his works fine, so it doesn't seem to be my connection...
Argghhhh...
As I said, the key seems to be, I CAN'T GET BACK TO THE OLD BROWSER WINDOWS either until the new one loads. I think its something changed in XP?
Any ideas?
