    Hi all.

So i tried to connect my Creative D200 speakers to my laptop and got error described in title. Now i know my speakers are working as I've connected my phone to them successfully. Laptop would also fail to connect to my phone, just throwing up this error when i click on 'Control' in Bluetooth devices.

Now recently 2 things have happened which may have caused this:

    1) I spilt water on my laptop. It got repaired and every other function seems to work just fine (and device manager doesn't throw up warning signs for hardware).
    2) Just before the water incident i reinstalled Windows completely i.e. VAIO Complete Restore.

Never had problem with Bluetooth before. Cheers.

check the sony site for updated bluetooth drivers and also windows update--make sure you look under optional updates

I doubt this is water related....much more likely software driver related.
