I just updated my gf's laptop to window 7 pro os. And the built in camera doesn't take pictures like it used to when it was on VISTA.
She said her model is PCG-7153L
and I've been having the toughest time ever with pc(s) trying to find this model on SONY support and it's not working out too well.
Can someone help?

You will need to download and install the drivers for the webcam.
Are you sure you are in the right region on the website? Some laptops that are released in one country are not released in other countries and vice versa.
The model number should be on the bottom of the notebook. -
H.A.L. 9000 Occam's Chainsaw
Is the device recognized as a MotionEye or is it even recognized at all? Windows 7 has built-in drivers for Sony MotionEye cameras. If it's recognized then you can try the ArcSoft Webcam Companion software that Sony provides OEM to snap some quick photos or videos, or like me... use it as a security cam..lol
EDIT: I love how there's nothing posted anywhere about that particular model except screen and ac-adapter replacements.
built in cam doesn't take pictures.
