which one is the best programm for burning/mounting ? Also lightscribe techniology would be nice.

    What i used until now:

    Cyberlink powerdvd for burning
    daemontools lite for mounting
    niothing for lightscribe

i thought about nero? But i dont need features such as a movie player or dvd player.. and also i´m not sure if nero supports lightscribe?

also does anyone know a ftp client which has a mster password to safe the logins?

I use Daemon for mounting, and Nero for burning and lightscribing. It's fully integrated in Nero Cover Design just by installing the driver in their site.

I'm also not interested in most of Nero's software, but you can choose what to install what not to in the installing process (at least in Nero 8).

hmm they dont have it on their site anymore.. only the nero9 edition. and ofc this one isn´t free too. also i guess nero9 will be much bigger and more resource heavier. But u said u only install some driver from the site and not a whole program or did i got it wrong? :p

I installed Nero 8 Ultra Edition, which I'm sure you can find with very little google work (if you can find it by a legal source of course). Once you have the CD/ISO you can install just the components you want: for burning you can live just with Nero Express, and for LightScribing install Nero Cover Designer too.

Once you have all the Nero components installed, go to LightScribe Download's Site, download and install the driver.

Now you have the ability to create and burn LightScribe discs using Nero Cover Designer and Nero Express. Hope it helps. ;)
