I burned a DVD-R (photos) on my XP Desktop (XPS 400) and tried to open it in
Vista on my E6500 laptop. No dice. In "My Computer" it showed a folder
    with nothing in it!

When I burned it on my desktop I did the quick format (sonic DLA asked to format), added the files
and then Finalized the disk. I tried it on a another laptop
(Dell) which is running XP and it had the photos.

What do I need to do?
I really hate sonic DLA. Do I have to use DLA program? I thought I could just drag and drop to burn. Any good programs recommanded?
