Its hard to say without any debugging info. What was the STOP Error Code shown on the BSOD ?

Can you log into Safe Mode, and if so, can you upload the latest Minidump (if Minidumps are enabled).

Do you have minidumps enabled ? Check it by right-clicking My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Startup & Recovery > Write Debugging Info, and see what is highlighted in the drop-down box.
And if the minidump was saved during the crash, it will be in Windows/Minidump folder (default)

Hi, I got EXACTLY the same error as ThunderCat69. I had this problem before - with different files - and even complete reinstall on formated drive didn't help. Before it the message only containded corrupted files that came from users (documents, music, etc.), but this time it crashed whole Vistas (x32 Business - legal - no crack). I'm returning it to store to get refund, because I failed to found any reason why it does that. So that it must be some kind of HW problem. My laptop is 1yo Lenovo N100 ... (lucky me it's not Acer)
