Can anyone suggest a good organizer/calendar program that I can use on my new laptop? I was using the Palm desktop software, but my palm is an older one---PalmIII, I believe, and it uses a serial port, which my laptop (Dell 5160) doesn't have--tried to use just the software, but it still claims the com3 port and messes up my internet settings so that I can't get out on my dial up. Also, is there something already in my Windows XP that I am unaware of that I could use? I am a teacher/homemaker--don't need anything all that high speed, but something with an easy interface that will help me keep track. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Definitely Rainlendar, it can even sync between multiple computers/laptops. If this isn't for you and you want a web based one you could always try Google Calendar.

Sunbird is also an option. From Mozilla.org.

Can't you just put the icon in your Startup Folder?

From the manual: "Note that if you want that the calendar starts with the Windows you need to keep the 'Startup folder'-option checked in the installation."
