it happens sometimes. Sometimes, very foolishly, and accidentally, I send out some files that are very personal and confidential to someone else, in email attachments or chat windows. It's a wrong click. It sounds wired but it could happen.

Is there anyway I can "lock" some files so that they cannot be sent or whenever the system intends to attach or send out those files , I will get a warning windows first?

Just encrypt those files prior to sending. Let your recipient have the password for opening the files. You can Google how to encrypt a file.

Or use the undo send lab on gmail (only gives you ~10s to undo), or any mail program with an outbox you can setup to only send when manually triggered. This will give you time to (hopefully) realize your mistake.
