    can i remove start menu

    hello guys i just download a program called object dock and i wanna remove the start menu with the tool bar down not auto hide, i wanna remove it all time till i want it back any ideas (windows VISTA)

    Have you tried this?

    Go to 'Configure Dock' > Under General check on 'Hide the Windows Taskbar'

    Other ideas would be to move the taskbar to the top and set it to autohide.

    While I agree that the OP's post is well-nigh indecipherable, I think s/he was trying to convey that s/he had already tried that and really wanted to excise the start menu altogether from the OS, not just hide it with autohide.

    Yeah, that feature is supposedly built into object dock. That's what the first solution should do, I have not used object dock though.
