    cant find directx settings in vista

    i installed directx9 in vista and in xp you normally go to the control panel and check the directX settings there i cant seem to find it there...anyone know where it is? :confused:

    EDIT more in particular i wanna get to the direct sound part...i can get the diagnostic tool but not the actual settings part

    So you go to the run dialog box and type in: dxdiag, but you can't change the settings?

    Is there a folder that DirectX installed to that you could find the settings tool in?

    i found the directx folder within the windows folder but its empty
