    cant find sleep mode.

    hi all
    i just turned my vistas performance option to "adjust for best performance" and i cannot find sleep mode in it.can any body explain why is it so?

    ya i was doing this because my laptop runs at high temperatures, i disabled the display adapter(which is nvidia) and kept the performance options to better performance.

    oh prescott it seems u too use HP does`nt it bother u with high temperatures?

    I don't really have a heat issue. It gets warm, toasty but not HOT. I try to be sure it's elevated a bit to let the air flow out.
    Maybe one of the coolers would help you.
