so ive found that on my sager laptop, iTunes doesn't seem to want to burn CDs. I get error 2131 ("unknown error"), and the cd ejects. I did some extremely preliminary research on this matter...as in, google search and scanned over first hit...and from what i can tell, there's no known solution yet.

anyway, to take care of that problem, the first thing i did was go into windows media player, and burned things there...but now i can't get what i want to burn to show up on my library through that program. the audio formats are the same (.m4a), and they're both in the same itunes library directory...the only difference i can think of is that the music i was able to burn was put on my HD via file transfer, whereas what im trying to burn now, i ripped off another CD. I've pretty much never used WMP for music, can someone let me know what i'm missing? how can i make this album, which i imported via itunes, register on my WMP music library? once again, located inside "User -> Music" directory, same file type etc.

AFAIK WMP doesn't support .m4a files.
It might be easiest to convert them to mp3's - I wouldn't have ripped them in m4a to begin with (I hate prop. file formats)
