    Hello,

    I got the claro search virus. Has anyone got it as well and how do i get rid of it? My avast free virus scanner doesnt see it or doesnt bother bout it.

    If isearch Claro is an installed program and not a simple extension, then the steps claro_search has provided will only remove the default search engine, start up page, and new tab page. It will not "remove" Claro from the hard drive. There is a lot of fuss about this and removal process, especially on the Norton community site.

    Removal/quarantine will require virus removal software. Refer to the link I provided above and that should do it - although as I stated, the best removal is a re-installation (but this is more so recommended in severe cases of infection).
