Ok, so this how it is:

i own a Samsung Series 7 Chronos 15 inch, with win 7 and up to last week my laptop was runnig fine without any issues. Usually, whenever i leave for a couple of hours i put my computer on to sleep in mode and it when i want to use it againt it boots up pretty quickly, which is fine, but last week i left my computer on sleep but for a very very long time and the computer went on to hibernation mode, so it stayed like that for an approximate of 24 hrs or more. But now, after using my computer from time will get super super slow, whenever i open up a new browser window, or try to look for a file on my start up bar and small tasks like that. So when it does get slow I have to wait for 3 whole minutes....

Does anyone have any clue to what happend to my lovely laptop?

    Thanks in advance!

While I'm not sure what causes it, maybe you can avoid it in the future.
Absolutely restart it 1st, hopefully it's back up to speed. try hibernating again and it it goes slow again, you can disable hibernation using this guide
Hibernate - Enable or Disable - Windows 7 Help Forums

so it will only sleep or turned off.

But it happens even when im not using hibernation or sleep mode. It just went into deep sleep and it will suddenly lag when opening a new browser page, looking for files, opening a folder. It will freeze on the desktop and then I will have to wait.. :\

so even after you turn it off, it is still very slow?
of course you are not in hibernation or sleep mode. If you are in those mode, the screen will be off and the system will operate at very low power. too low to do anything.
are you saying it went to deep sleep suddenly when you are working? (after the incident)

Check your free disk space. Hibernation files can get big.

Disable hibernation (temporarily) at at administrator command prompt with "powercfg -hibernate off" as this will delete that hibernation file. Do "powercfg -hibernate on" to turn it back on.

at work so cant go into too much

first thing i do with a new computer is delete the 2.1gb hibernation file so this can never happen to me again.
had similar problems 7 years ago with a m15x alienware and what usually would of been something simple turned out to be a dead motherboard after a simple hibernation on a 19 day old laptop.

2 things to try. first thing i would suggest is
turn off and remove mains and battery. now press power button for 20 seconds. **
dont think this alone will help but its worth a try first.
now put battery and mains back in and boot and try a few things to see if its back to normal.

    if not try this.
exactly the same as above (upto **) and once youve done that hunt down your cmos battery inside the laptop and remove and put back and then try again.
depending on laptop it could be under the base or under the keyboard.

    keep us posted

What I am saying is that my computer will eventually work fine most of the time, BUT every now and then it would get super slow when opening up a new browser window, or a folder, or a picture. So slow that i have to wait for minutres before opening up anything. Before this, i used to left my computer on sleep mode and it work perfectly. However, last week i left my computer on sleep mode for a long time, leading it to be on hibernation. I believe that because of this (hibernation) my computer is not being working fine as it used to :\

Usually when the computer has these issues it is a hard drive issue. When in hibernation it actually take the drive from sleep then shut it down. This could have enabled in drivers, or on the drive itself, power savings modes that are unintended. Try using a program to get the drives out of low APM modes and see if this helps. If it does then you know where to start looking.............

I think the hibernation is just a red herring. Try running this Process Explorer

With in it have it display cpu usage graphs for each process. Then when it starts lagging, look to see which one is using the cpu the most. Then report back.

Ok this what has happend so far.

I ran nod32, I ran kapersky as well, and finally malware bytes. Each found viruses and alike, and I deleted.....STILL! I had lagging issues, then I decided to run a defrag, while on the defrag my computer froze for over an hour! I was very hesistant if I should have turned it off or not, but good thing I didnt. After the defrag my computer's performance was much better, lagging was ocasional, still annoying, but much better than before. I was even setting up my computer and sleep mode and was rebooting without a problem..... Ok, so yesterday I went out, for like 10min, then the laptop's screen turned off, after I tried using it again, I experience lagging issues. The computer froze for over 30min or more, this happend twice. Then I tried just waiting... So i went to sleep, woke up around 8am, and in my desktop screen the clock still indicated 12:16am! As of right now, my computer is working fine, but not before I logged in into safe mode, turned off the compter (i.e. the right way) and then turned it back on, however I am afraid the lagging issues will come back!

sorry for the long post hahah! I like to give out details as much as possible lol

Did you have a chance to try Process Explorer?
