whats the difference with cpu clock and cpu speed?
i was thinking that cpu speed would be max when the clock is maxed.. but i constantly have low clock and max speed (according to nhc, starting to doubt that thing..)
what gives?

ok...so i get it that you dont understand.
lets put it this way....
what happens when a mountain bike is in Gear 1 ? you pedal fast but the bike still dose not go very fast.....what about on gear 7? you pedal slower but the bike goes faster...
this is the same with CPU's now days.
a CPU with slow frequency (ie. 1.3 GHz) dose not mean that it will be slower than a CPU with a fast frequency (ie. 2.0 GHz). why? because of the mountain bike example.
lets say that the low frequency cpu has a per cycle performance of 74, while the high frequency CPU has a per cycle performance of 29. so.... we put it this way:
Low frequency CPU: 74x1300MHz= 96200 performance
High Frequency CPU: 29x2000MHz= 58000 Performace.
so which CPU is faster? the 1.3GHz one or the 2.0GHz one???
same with the mountain bike. its not how many times you pedal the bike....its how much power is in each pedal.
so the CPU speed depends on how much the CPU can do in each cycle... -
