    well my compaq cq50 is verry hot, and so is someone elses on this site. i need a cpu monitor or w.e to messure the heat and preformance of my computer, i see that there is a cpu monitor usage, ram monitor in the gadgets on vista preinstalled would that work? if not give me a program or gadet that is well recommended and easy to unistall completly i dont want left behinds on my comp. thank you if you can help me

    try HWMonitor you dont need to install it just run the exe file whenever you want to check your temperatures. i use to monitor my temperatures. regarding cpu and ram usage you can check through taskmanager as you dont want to install any thing.....

    You ever blown it out with a can of compressed air?
    I did mine last week, made a big difference, although I have a different laptop.
