I am going crazy because I have been trying to have different services running with different user's accounts or hw profile.

unfortunately i found out that hw profile just saves any changes made to the hw configuration, call me dumb if you will.

then i tried creating another user with admin privileges and if i disable a service on user 1 it is disables in user 2.

is there any way to have customized services for different users? i need to have two profiles, one for everthing and the other for just recording, so i will just run 4/5 services, the basics.

I'd appreciate any help and no dual booting with 2 OS is not an option for me.

If it's WinXP, right click on my computer and choose properties, click on advanced tab, you'll see a user profile button in the middle. You have to play with that. Not that I know how because I have never play with this feature before, but I think that is one way for you to do what you intended to achieve.

    I might be wrong though.

I am gonna try right now!..

    ...
that feature is useless it just let you delete or copy the profile somewhere else
