    how do i open and view this sort of file data base file?

    it was recovered from a hard drive it say data base file .db?

    when try with xp it say can not open recovered thumbnail_46 .db so do i need somethind to open .db files

    ok found a view turns out the file is a thumbnail .db but the veiwer will not let me save the file has a pic any help

    uhh thumbnail.db is just a file which records the small pictures that show on picture and movie files NOTHING else atleast as far as i know

    no that one does not work tryed it i would like to open file and save the pic can it be done

    now is the thumbnail a pic of the file and not the file its self?

    I'm pretty sure INCSlayer is right. I have tons of folders that, if you show hidden files, you will see a "thumbs.db" file in. There's no relevant photo within the file. It's just a placeholder I think.
