When my wife and I got back from our honeymoon, we were unable to get any of our pictures off of the camera because the cable was lost. Because I was ordering a laptop with the card adapter built into it, we didn't worry about it.

However, she turned the camera on not too long ago only to find "DATA ERROR" and all of our personal pictures from our wedding and our honeymoon were gone.

I know there is some data recovery software out there, but can anyone attest to how good they are? Can anyone recommend options?

    Thanks all!
