    deleted programs folder

    hi,

    yesturday after installing a program, i saw a programs folder appear, not the first time. so i deleted it but did not empty recycle bin.
    today i change the theme and was deleting files and forgot i left that in there. and i emptied the recycle folder,
    now i cannot get onto administive folder under control panel and can run as admin but like when i want to add a vistaside gadget i get a error or somthing, how can i get the folder back,
    at the moment i and using Recuva and seeing wether it can find the folder

    If Volume Shadow Copy was running (which it should be), then if you have Vista Business/Ultimate you can restore the deleted folder. If you have Vista Home Premium, install ShadowExplorer - which does the same thing for free. the deleted folder should still be accessible in the shadow copy which is created by default. Just run the app, navigate to a date before you deleted the folder, then navigate to the folder, then restore, and choose the correct location to restore it to. Job done.
