    hey guys

    i was wondering if there is a way to make the desktop shortcuts only show the icons but not the name of the shortcut application underneath? :frown:

    ive searched online but to no avial and trying to use the windows help also didnt yeild any answers. :err:

    oh by the way im running widows vista premium 32bit

    I'm not sure but when I tried to delete the names in XP it popped up must have file name. Afterall, it's a file system.

    thanks for the headsup guys, yeah its a file but it wont even let me shorten the name at all, i thought it was just a shortcut allowing one to access the file, anyway, akajohn ill go take a look at the link you provided and see if it helps. thanks for that.
