Yesterday I downloaded bittorrent and used it to d/ just 2 cds worth of music. Starting later in the day my dialup connection is always exchanging packets even when I'm not doing anything. if its connected, its exchanging. I had all automatic updates shut off, all suspicious
(to me) processes closed down, and it still wont stop. I've run malware and virus scans.
Maybe you can see something I cant.
Have no idea if this could be related to bittorrent or not, just odd it started the same day. I have since uninstalled bittorrent. Nothing changes. I cant even use my dialup network in windows now, because something is clogging all the bandwidth!

The first image is my processes after I shut a whole bunch down, to no avail. The second is a more normal list, except Symantec virus scan (VPC32) is running and msconfig is open

It appears that Zone Alarm is at fault, though I havent figured out why....

seems I was infected or hacked thanks to my bittorrent download. Got it rectified over on the Zone Alarm Free forum, but I sure wish I knew what it was. But seems to be gone now.
dialup internet connection always active. HELPPPP
