what you can do it go to Control Panel->User Accounts then there should be an option to turn User Account Control On or Off and you can turn it off here.

Hmm i just checked it and my problem was that I have the control panel set to classic view so if you have it set to the default you need to go Control Panel->User Accounts->User Accounts (you need to click it again after you click it from the main control panel.) That got me to the correct screen.

If you turn it off you will stop receiving the dialog boxes asking you for permission but you will also lose the benefits of User Account Control (UAC.) UAC is explained pretty clearly here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Account_Control.

Ahh, yes listen this one. I did mine the hard way with the registry editing. This way is easier.
