well i saw on www.acer.com that you can download acer empower utilities like acer enet, erovery etc.. but is saw 2 differents downloads for acer 5920g aspire. one for windows vista sp1 only and the other software was for acer 5920g without windows vista sp 1 for acer software.

i have a acer aspire 5920g and software without windows vista sp1 .

do i need to uninstall the old acer empower software for the acer empower software for windows vista sp1. ??

and also you can download acer 5920g drivers and utilities for windows vista sp1

like acer audio, winbond , acer nvidia driver for windows sp1

do i also have to uninstall all the old drivers of acer empower for 5920g

for the windows vista sp1 drivers for acer aspire.

    or not

    please help

Get rid of Acer Bloatware, except LM and eRecovery, and download and install SP1 for Vista (highly recommended).

It doesn't matter. I have used Vista software and drivers in XP.
Anyway, you can update Launch Manager (in drivers) and Acer eRecovery with the SP1 editions.
