    does 64 bit vista automatically find 64 bit drivers?

    If I had both 32 bit and 64 bit drivers in the same folder, and manually specify the folder of where both the driver is, would vista install the correct 64 bit drivers, or would it get confused?

    It will only take 64-bit drivers.

    dont worry, vista 64 is ok ive been using since two yeas everything works just fine, not sure why people panic when they hear 64 bit.

    Uhh... I'm not panicking.

    Just wondering if vista 64bit can choose the right 64 bit drivers instead of 32 bit drivers if all the drivers are in one folder (you know how you have to specify the folder in which the drivers are located in manual driver install...)
