    well i have hp laptop dv2519tu purchased in india.........
    i have a problem with it that my main softwares do not work with vista so i want to degrade it's os to xp........i have tried it to do but invein.
    i talked to hp people they told me to disable sata native support in bios but again it was not present in the same............secondly i tried to insert sata/raid drivers using winlite and it worked with other models but not mine.....what can be the problem and how it can be rectified ........kindly help............
    thirdly i would like to know how to install xp on my portable usb hdd....

    So I take it the XP disc isn't seeing your hard drive?
