Google them? or use iconpackager?

You have to install a vista icon pack.
-
The Vista shell32.dll is not backwards compatible.
-
You don't have to install any .dll's as far as i remember. You just download an icon pack (.exe) and install it. Like in the vista transformation pack.

Sorry if I was confusing, Calvin....I was just bemoaning the fact that I can't simply copy the Vista shell32.dll file to XP to get the icons.
(I use the XP shell32.dll, renamed shell32xp.dll, to get XP icons in Vista
)

The vista shell32.dll isn't backwards compatible because it requires some features specifically in vista but can use the XP icons because XP is the older OS.

Yep. And also explorer.exe in Vista can't be opened with Resource Hacker, like many Vista system files (they're compiled more or differently
).
Bummer. Vista isn't as hackable. Oh well......
