    Hi...

Just wanted to know if there is a viable alternative to Calibre. Not happy with my installation. Some books (which are in PDF) take a very very long time to open and often don't open at all.

In about a month of so, I should get my e-reader (Kindle) and I will be transfering my e-books into that. So, if there is a good ebook management software then it should work with the Kindle, I am hoping.

    Thanks

Well if you're getting a Kindle anyways... you may want to look at downloading "Kindle for PC"... a free download from Amazon. I don't know how to import your PDFs (assuming you can), but you might want to look into it if you're planning to put them on the Kindle anyway.

There is "Adobe Digital Editions"... but if it's actual pdfs, just use Acrobat Reader :)
