    emergency recovering file!

    i recently reinstalled my xp. unfortunately, i was not able to backup my thesis document!... i badly needed it. otherwise, i'm dead!... :(

    is there any program that can help me on these?

    You might try Zero Assumption Recovery. I hear it's one of the best, and good for single files since there's a free trial version.

    for you can try GetDataBack from runtime software. this saved me many times

    Try several programs since all of them differ in what they recover. I have used Smartundelete to recover over 7 Gb of Program Files.
