    I saw someone mention a program earlier that scanned your computer for errors and would fix them, they gave a link to the site to download. The thing is I can't remember who they were or what the program was called. I would have checked my history but firefox is set to delete temporary files when closed :confused2: anyone have an idea at which program it is?

    there are about 2,000 programs that fix about 5,000 different errors.....

    I know my computer has a ton of errors in it...recently msn messenger crashes on startup and stardock. now any picture editor like Paint.Net crashes when started, even simple picture viewers! :confused: :mad: I've even tried reinstalling them, but they crash during the installation

    I'd start checking to ensure you don't have faulty memory or some other hardware component. Download and run memtest for starters.
