    Here the scenario:

I have 3 computers with 32 bits windows (mix of vista and xp). I want to upgrade them to windows 7 64 bit with the family pack. I assume my only option is to do a clean install right? Am I allow to do a clean install with the family pack or is it upgrade only? However, if switching from 32 bit - 64 bit require a clean according to microsoft even if you purchase a upgrade.

To make the matter even more confusing two of the computers are the Xp Professional and Vista Business.
