I uninstalled the local area network's "file and printer sharing" (not just unchecked, I uninstalled it). Interesting thing is that now I don't see that feature in wireless network and bluetooth network either. It is unlikely that I'll need that feature in future, but I would like to know whether it's possible to get it back, reinstalled in the computer. Advice appreciated!![]()
(Please not it is Windows XP)
Thanks for any input![]()

Yes, you can add file and printer sharing back whenever you want. I haven't run XP for over a year, so I don't remember the steps, but if you reverse what you did to uninstall it, you should be fine.

I want to say that you can access it in the Add/remove application, looking in the Windows component section, but I don't remember exactly where it is.
file & printer sharing - reinstall after uninstallation?
