    file backup?

    a friend needs to wipe her computer..
    but she has a ton of bookmarks and email that need to be backed up and saved..what is some of the easiest ways to do this?

    and will this allow her to import them again after wiping and reinstalling windows?

    Yes.. you can import or get it back, from where ever you backed up in the first place.. Syncback is just a backup program which backsup your data from your system to another system / external hdd or so on.. so using this you can get it back again.. you just have to set it up accordingly and change the 'source', 'destination' folders / locations..

    usb stick would work to back it up then right?

    Yes..

    But why don't u just copy / past onto the USB? I mean bookmarks, for example, you just export them from your browsers.. and copy / paste the exported file to the USB?!!
