Is the process running in task manager?
If it is, end it and try it again. -
ill try that.
-
what is the process called?
-
is it called mozilla firefox? and when i clicked on the icon for FF3 , the app won't show up in Task manager
-
If you have IE, you could do this; using the uninstall application in the control panel, remove completely any version of FF, then download FF3 and install it again.
-
any noticed firefox 3 lags and is slow
-
i did that. i uninstalled FF3 from control panel and reinstalled it . still doesn't work. i i tried ff2 and 1 sec after it opens, i get an error message saying it need to close. plz i need some help.
-
hello. is anyone there?
-
Hi, try to use the edit button friend to avoid the multiposting
-
I would remove both versions and also your profile. There could be something corrupt in it messing up the way it starts.
-
umm basically uninstall it and delete any entries in the registry
then delete the folder and use a program like revo uninstaller to uninstall it
so far i dont like firefox 3 it lags and my gmail doesn't refresh like how it did in ff2 -
Download the install file again, and run it.
-
i just forgot to reboot!
heheheheh! i learnt something important yesterday. do not intall things when u r tired after a game of tennis.
-
That's was my instruction in my PM, check it out
So, does it work now? -

predatorramboxxx - my FF3 doesn't lag at all.
-
i tried it on two pcs and it freezes and messes up
like it will just hang or just lag
i dont get it -
what kind of internet security products do you use? Google them to see if they have any problems with Firefox 3. It might just be that firefox gets blocked by default and you have to manually allow firefox to run (depending on your setting , kaspersky for example, may block FF3 when you boot it up)
-
Have you tried IE to see if that's working?
-
May be is IE that is preventing FF to work well, ...conspiracy.....
firefox 3 won't start!!!
