This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    firefox SOUND not working

    on my mozilla firefox 3 my sound is NOT working on any streaming videos youtube, veoh, hulu, but my safari is working and my sound on my labtop is working. I really do not like safari and would like to know waht the problem is. I have all teh plug-ins and this is a very recent problem, im not sure if i did anything to the browser(im sure i did but w.e)

    I had something similar happen once. A plugin failed to work in one browser, but not another. I think I reinstalled it and all was well.

    If you're running Vista, did you check the Volume Mixer?
