I agree. You don't need any performance/feature addons in FF3 as now everything comes built in.
Probably, i've only used it on 32 bit though.

I wouldn't really recommend the latest builds of Minefield, for quite a few of me and my friends they've DELETED all our bookmarks, this on Vista and XP so make sure you backup your bookmarks before you try it, also, some people can't get flash to work with Minefield I've noticed.

What build did you use? FF3 Beta 3 has been even more stable than Firefox 2 for me. None of my bookmarks got messed up, and flash has worked just fine.

Personally i would recommend minefield as it's as stable, or even more stable than the current version 2. It gives you time to test out the features of the new version before you upgrade, and many more reasons including speed increase, safety increase, and many little features that are handy.

Installing FF 3 "integrated" it with v2 so i kind of didn't have a choice when i switched to v3 full time.

Right when you open up Options in Firefox, you get this:

    'When Firefox Starts'

I believe that drop down box allows you to set Firefox open up your last session when you close it.

Yes, if you don't FF3 may be slower, don't apply any about:config hacks to it.
