This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    firefox problem with youtube

    Hi

    im running the latest update of firefox (not beta)

    for some reason after updating i now have no audio when watching youtube videos. IE works fine.

    any suggestions on whats wrong? should i reinstall a flash plugin or something?

    Real quick, try another site with similar flash videos like MetaCafe to double check. If it continues, reinstall the Flash Plug-in and then see. If not, uninstall Firefox and reinstall it. Use something like FEBE, PW Backup, or MozBackup to save your bookmarks and passwords. I always suggest to reinstall your extensions ;) Good luck!
