I have the newest firefox and I seem to be having a problem. I have some add-ons such as flashblock, adblock, fasterfox, ietab....and I go into the View, Toolbars, Customize toolbar, and set the icons for IEtab and such next to my Back, Forward, Refresh, etc keys...and they stay there..until I close out firefox and restart it again..They magically vanish until I go back into the customize toolbar menu and re-add them. Suggestions?

Don't know about that specifically but you might want to check your options settings?

Make sure you don't have a plugin/add-on that isn't FF2.0 compatible. It may interfere with the rest of the lot...(for example, i know personally that adblock, fasterfox, and ietab work on FF2.0).

You might just turn them all off and do the old one at a time routine. I'm good with just Adblock and default skins for now.

i disabled all add-ons and then set the "cut" button onto the toolbar...then restarted firefox..and it was gone...so i don't think it is the add-ons conflicting each other..

I'm not sure if you tried this or if it will pertain to you, but sounds like what your describing.

    Corrupt localstore.rdf

This article deals with Firefox issues caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file, which may include:

Changes to the toolbar reset themselves after you close Firefox and start it up again

Window size or position not remembered at startup

Bookmarks appear in the Bookmarks Manager but not in the main menu and can't be edited [1]

"Add Bookmark" dialog not working [2]

Firefox 1.5: Search engines missing from the Search Bar and unable to add new engines (Firefox 2 users, see this article)

These problems can be fixed by using either of the following methods (any toolbar customizations will be gone when you restart Firefox):

Safe Mode method: Exit Firefox completely and then restart Firefox in Safe Mode. A window called Firefox Safe Mode with some troubleshooting options will appear. Select the option "Reset toolbars and controls" and choose "Make Changes and Restart".

Alternate method: Exit Firefox completely, open the Firefox profile folder (Windows users, read this for help finding it) and delete the file "localstore.rdf". Caution: Do not delete the localstore.rdf file in the Firefox program installation folder by mistake [3].

Backup bookmarks. Uninstall. Use CCleaner for registry cleanup. Reinstall. Look at GPA2 FF 3.0.
