    Hi,

I am using Windows XP Professional with service pack 2 on a Lenovo T60 and I am getting an error when using IE7 with flash 9.

    Screenshot is attached.

Does anyone know why I am getting this error and how to fix it?

I have been experiencing the same thing for awhile now. Apparently IE7 and the latest Flash plugin do not get along. Hopefully Adobe is working on this.

I have not tried an older version yet, but I will if Flash continues to trigger a shutdown of IE.

Ah, so you have to use their uninstaller first. :notworthy:

I was wondering why I was still seeing the plugin for 9 when I installed 8 over top of it (which was still crashing IE anyway).

    Thanks!
