hey, i installed a lot of fonts on my computer, which led to a lot of slow down and frustration. i tried hard to go through all of them and delete the ones i for sure, didn't need, but noticed that some were write-protected, so i figured that windows saves the ones it needs and the rest were not important, so i deleted everything except a select few... and now all my fonts are messed up in firefox and other programs.

does anyone know what i can do about this that doesn't entail reformatting and reinstalling vista?? this is a real pain in the... the fonts system in windows is so archaic!

if anyone can help,i would greatly appreciate it!

do you think that it is possible to restore default fonts from the vista 64 cd? or download an application that includes these fonts somehow? those are, the way i see it, my only real options besides a full system reinstall...
