    I'd take the upgrade, but save it until 64-bit is more mainstream.

    ah im askin cause i built the laptop in my sig ntended to do some gaming with 32bit vista...but 64bit vista was offered for the exact same price. i got scared away with the driver support for 64bit vista...but i was just wondering if its enough to pass up on the free upgrade?

    No, not right now because of compatibility issues. Besides, 64bit upgrade (for 32bit ultimate) is like $10 anyways, right ? If I were you, I wouldn’t worry too much about passing up that offer.

    Besides the fact that my processor isn't 64bit, I really can't see the point in the upgrade, 64bit has more issues than 32bit, which as far as I can tell STILL has major issues, so yeah... not touching THAT one with a 10' pole
