Yeah, I'm sure it's not what you wanted to hear, but with dial up stuff that needs higher bandwidth just isn't possible.

    Denny,

As Zimm said, not possible. It has nothing to do with software, you just can't stream voice in real time with dialup because it's not fast enough. Think about how long it takes you to download a MP3 compared to how long the song actually is... It's kinda like that.

You can get DSL for $15/mo though. Why stay with dialup?

you could try teamspeak on the lowest quality sound, but I doubt that would be satisfactory

thanks 4 u all..i have planned to set the ADSL, but I live in Indonesia which the DSL cost is very very high (about $300/month) for unlimited connection.I want to chat with my bro who study at shanghai
I have tried MSN,Skype,netmeeting,etc....and my conclusion is netmeeting is the best for sound quality and speed...but it still far from satisfactory....
at all, thanks very much for you all

AIM also has voice chat, though I've no idea how it may work on dial-up. I would check out other instant messengers to see if they have voice chat as well... If your brother in Shanghai has access to affordable DSL, maybe he can call you instead? but I'm sure you've already thought of it...
