This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I have an 80gb 4200 drive, and i think it is set to quiet mode, and i would like to turn it off, to see if i can get better performance.

    But i have been unable to find one.

    any help would be appriciated.

    i look at the fujitsu web page. no such utility exists. if there is its third party.
